Menthol, menthone, methyl acetate, volatile oil, tannic acid, terpenes, and vitamin C.
Increases stomach acidity. Irritates mucous membranes and the gastrointestinal tract.
Use for chills, colic, fever, nausea, diarrhea, heart trouble, rheumatism, convulsions, spasms, and headaches.
CAUTION: May interfere with iron absorption.
